The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies has fulfilled, ever since its foundation in 1913, a leading role in economic higher education and research, based on quality standards and partnerships with the economical and social environment.
The Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems strives to reach excellence in research, to be leading provider of high quality in higher education and to enhance opportunities for life-long learning. Our objectives are to achieve an international reputation in higher education and research, and to develop the network of relationships with similar universities and professional accounting bodies: the Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania – CECCAR, and Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania - CAFR.
In this context, starting 2005, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants - ACCA awarded accreditation to our faculty for the undergraduate programme. Also, two masters programmes are accredited by or developed in association with international bodies such as the Certified Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) or the ACCA.
